Willow Flower Essence
Willow Flower Essence
Acceptance and forgiveness, resolving resentment, bitterness, inner child healing
Willow is a strong plant spirit, and this flower essence is what is called a “reactive remedy” by flower essence practitioner, Jessica Bear. Willow works fast and is not subtle like most other flower essences, as it works on the deepest layers of sediment that have landed at the bottom of the heart and pull them up. Willow stimulates emotional release or shifts that allow us to process what we have so long buried within us.
The flexible and watery branches of Willow shows us what it brings into the contracted heart, ease and openness to not be so defensive. It melts lingering bitterness or resentment, but it may bring up all these feelings first, so that we can give them a voice to release. Call on the spirit of Willow if you are holding onto invisible pain or grief you don’t know where you are carrying, breaking grudges, or full of bitterness. Willow’s nature will cleanse the water of the heart and carry it away, but not without first showing you how to take responsibility for your own life and healing.
The last image is hand drawn by me, from my experience in journeying with the plant spirit of Willow. A dual natured spirit of water nymph and crone. The “phantom pains” we can still feel in our heart is what she transmutes and releases. Willow works on the the Calcination and Dissolution path of internal alchemical processes.
Flower essences are water based medicine preserved with brandy. What you receive is a stock bottle, meaning you can further dilute this if you choose or take directly from the bottle.
If you prefer non-alcoholic preservative, please mention in note.
The RITUAL>> Take 4 drops in water or directly on the tongue up to 4 times a day. Is also great with a few drops in a bath or on the acu-points of the body including the wrists, temples, heart, third eye, etc.
